Can I just tell you that I have been coming back here over and over again, just to see the sweet joy on all of your faces! And now I am rewarded with even more pictures to enjoy!
Congratulatins doesn't seem like enough of a word, but gosh. . . this just has made my whole week!
I just called bangladesh to get my modem working because it got knocked off line and has not been working properly! I was like LADY HURRY IT UP! Don't you know I'm waiting on pictures!@!!!
R looks smitten! I can't see enough of these pictures!!!
What a blessing - she is beautiful and you both look so happy and in your element. Congratulations and continued prayers. (Just had to come out of hiding to see her!).
PRICELESS! I especially love that third photo, of baby with her beautiful Mama and proud Papa. Congratulations again! Clara, you are so lucky to have the most adoring parents in the world!
We are just overwhelmed at God's goodness over here. I brought GG to the computer to show him the pics and we marveled at the love abounding so obviously from your hearts. I am obsessed with the photos--if you get a million hits on them tonight, it's because I've been looking at them over and over. God is so good.
I love the little hat, who made that (it looks hand-knit)?
I need to know (because I'm all about the magic of God's timing) when she was originally due (you said she was premature, right?) That way I can estimate based upon that when she was most likely conceived... and go back in your blog posts to see what Mommy and Daddy were up to while their baby girl was formed in the womb!!!
Love the pics! Sew, you said it! I had no idea the first month they poo a lot more than they do after that. I really think that was the #1 shock of parenting for me. We went through 24 diapers a day (all poo) and several outfits. And I didn't think we needed many newborn size since they grow so fast-for awhile I washed every outfit every day. lol. The crazy stuff like that won't last, but all the good things do!
Oh.my.gosh. Look at your family!!! What a beautiful testament to God's amazing goodness! His hand in your whole journey is SO evident! What a beautiful baby, and you guys look amazing in the light of parenthood. Live it up!! Thanks so much for sharing- I think I've refreshed your blog 300 times today!
I love these pictures, thank you so much for taking the time to post them, she is beautiful and I was waiting all day to see more! hopefully one day soon you will be able to write a post and tell us all how parenthood feels!
I stumbled onto your blog today via Building Cathedrals. I spent a nice chunk of my afternoon reading your previous posts. I am so happy for you. You and your husband are just radiating joy in these pictures with your beautiful daughter. You are very blessed.
I've lurked for a while now, and have prayed for you many times. I can't remember ever being so happy for a new mama :) Congrats on your dream come true!!!
what a beautiful baby! you guys must be thrilled. Congrats!! :) she's such a tiny little thing!! Enjoy every moment and videotape and take more pictures than you ever think you will need. The time when they are young goes sooooooooooo fast. savor it!!
I haven't read through all the comments, so this has probably already been said, but oh my goodness, she looks like a miniature doll in that car seat...she is so tiny and precious and beautiful! I lit a candle for you all at adoration tonight and asked for a safe journey back home. God Bless! - Marie
This just made my night! Went to adoration and prayed for you guys this evening.
She is a teeny tiny perfect princess! I JUST LOVE the picture of the three of you.... R is looking so adoringly at you and Clara. And oh, K, you are a natural mama! You can just tell! She fits perfectly in your arms.
LOVE THE PICTURES. Ok, going to stop commenting so I can go look at them again!
The joy on your faces says it all! Thank you for sharing this amazing experience with all of us. And Clara is just breathtakingly beautiful. God is so good!
WOW! you know it's just amazing to read your story and how miss clara came about so suddenly. i lost a baby at full term, and so i read about so many others with my same story. and when you read the story in one chunk, the pregnancy and then all the sudden, the death, it's like a horror movie where you know the ending and you just hope it ends differently, even though you already know, it wont. it will end in a nightmare.
but this was the opposite. i read your story, already knowing the outcome --- the hope that this was real, that it wasnt a scam, that the money would materialize, that no other parent would jump ahead of you.. and i knew the ending ahead of time and it was like a true, wonderful love story instead of a horror film. thank you for inspiring me. what a little blessing you have there.
I'm so already crying right now and I have only been keeping up with you for about a week! Thanks for all the posts...it felt like we were right there with you!
Clara is so beautiful!!! I love how filled with joy and love your faces are. What a precious sight. How blessed the three of you are to have each other. God is so good!
Instead of facebook, I checked your blog. I am just sucked right into this great story. I love the picture where you are holding Clara, and R is just gazing at her. Love is just written all over your faces!
Praise God! So happy for you. I've followed your blog because I've felt we have had such similiar experiences and have been praying for you to adopt.. we were able to adopt this year just after my birthday too... we also had only a few days notice, but I think that makes it even better! So happy for you :)
I awoke in the middle of the night and one of the first things I thought about (after Ave Maria, gratia plena) was that you guys might also be up doing one of the following:
1 Feeding Miss Clara 2 Baby Gazing. They are so darn cute when they sleep. Even the bigger ones.
Am I the only one checking back today for more pictures?
I hope you guys are soaking in the newest member of your family! I forget, can you come back right away? Have continued to pray for God's hand to be on your whole journey!
Please don't be upset with me, but I cannot stop crying over this. I'm just so overwhelmed(like you aren't...lol). I have shared this story with some in my life and I know I'm going to cry and I tell it anyway. Ok, now I'm crying again. I just cannot get over God's love and kindness shown to you and it gets me so, so emotional. Don't ever doubt how many lives you have touched through this blog. You have done exactly what you were born to do and bear witness to. I will always keep you in my prayers and our rosaries here. Thank you for making us part of your journey.
Can I just tell you that I have been coming back here over and over again, just to see the sweet joy on all of your faces! And now I am rewarded with even more pictures to enjoy!
