Progesterone results

My doctor's office called with my blood test results for my progesterone:

Peak +7: 44.27
Peak +9: 17.96
Peak +11: 19.76

Good numbers, thank God!

The nurse's reason for calling me was actually because she said my doctor needed to know two things - the date my last period started and the date of my peak day. She said she needed to tell my doctor to see if he wanted to run any additional tests. I'm like, what additional tests? Although in real life I didn't actually ask her what tests, I just said 'okay.'

What I did ask her, though, was what the test results were because I wasn't getting off the phone without those! So that's when she told me and mentioned that my doctor said "they are right where he likes to see them." I'd say! Considering that last month my peak +7 was 8.21, 44.27 is pretty great (and I'm not even taking any progesterone supplements or anything - I'm on all the same meds as last month).

So the bottom line is I have something to celebrate this month - greatly improved progesterone and the knowledge that my progesterone doesn't fall too low too soon (which is what my saliva test showed last spring and it hasn't been tested after peak +7 since), or at least it didn't this cycle. Things are moving in the right direction!

  6. Yes, I too was wondering about the rising levels? Have you started a new cycle?

Regardless, you are in my prayers. I have really enjoyed reading your blog, and praying for you to become pregnant. Thanks for sharing all your thoughts with the internet world. God Bless you for your witness!

  7. Yes.. I wondered if anyone would notice the rising levels! I've googled it (of course) and I guess it can be a good sign. I have not started a new cycle yet and no spotting.. today is cd 31, 14 days post peak (I usually go 11). And my bbt was up to 98.9 two hours earlier than I normally take it. I'm probably testing tomorrow a.m.

Thanks so much for the prayers, Right Said Red!

  8. Oh, great news that your period hasn't started! What excitement! I will pray, pray, pray for a positive result. I will also pray that you will have peace regardless. What a journey this is for you.

I had some suspicions with those rising prog. levels. My husband and I teach NFP, so it seemed a possibility that you were pregnant when I read the levels. I'm praying for good news.

  9. HA, of COURSE you googled it! I knew that if I noticed it, you must have!!!

Oh man, I don't want to get your hopes up, but I am SUPER excited for you to test. That's all I'll say. I'm praying for you- - and I'll pray that no matter what happens tomorrow, you will be strong :)

  11. K, you're KILLING me here!!

I have to leave now, but the very last thing I am doing before packing up my computer is hovering around your blog page, waiting for an update!!!! (I'm secretly also suspecting that the delay is due to good news, b/c generally you post AF/BFN news right away!)

I will be praying non-stop in the car. I mean that, too, because one of my Lent things is I gave up my car radio!! So I'll have nothing else to do BUT talk to God, and I'll be giving him an earful about you and how it's your time :)

PLEASE get my # from Sew and text me the good news whenever you're ready to announce!! Big hugs!
