Bad news

Our beloved cat Carmie died today.

I am beside myself with grief. I am still in shock. He was only six years old.

Poor Ryan had to go to work. Please pray that he can look happy on t.v. I don't know how he'll do it.

I am so upset that I can't write anymore right now, but I will when I can. As Ryan said this morning, our animals are all we have. I'm sure you understand.

    OH MY GOSH! I am in shock to hear this!!!!!!

    I am praying for you both as I know I would be a mess if one of my fur-babies died!

    I only hope Diesel had nothing to do with this....

    K- I'm so sorry!!! I just wrote a whole post on Janie and how she is becoming more and more like my child. Pets are like family, so please know we are praying for you guys! Carmie was such a sweet cat!

    I am so sorry. My husband and I had to put our cat to sleep on my husband's birthday. She was only 1 year old.

    I am SO sorry!!!

    When our kitty ran away this summer, I cried and cried ... and for some reason, it made me even sadder about IF!!

    I cried myself to sleep so many nights ... I know how much you love your animals and yes, they are all we have so they ARE our family, whether others can understand that or not.

    Oh no. That is heartbreaking. Praying for you and Ryan. My DH had a hard time putting on a brave face at work when we lost are 18 yr. old kitty last month. I at least had the luxury of being able to grieve at home & out of sight. So, so sorry.

    Oh no!! I can't even imagine what I would do... it is too aweful to even think about. SIX?? That is just way too young :(

    I don't have any words except that I am so so sorry, and if you want to talk I'll be here. And yes, you're right, our pets ARE our children right now. (But you know, with "pet people" like us, we'd treat our pets like part of the family even if we had kids. They are just so special in our home.)
    I'll be praying for strength for you and R. May Carmie rest in peace- I know she must have had a wonderful life in your home.

    Oh I'm so sorry!!! My cat Roofus who was my baby through all my infertility died on my birthday last year. Just ask Lifehopes I was crying when she called to wish me happy birthday! Then we also lost our new cat Cosmo. Long story but soooo sad. I hate it for you.
